Front & back blisters
By front and back blisters we mean two blisters, typically used to show both sides – the front and the back, of the product, enclosed between a front & back blister card or a fold-over card. This combination of blisters is sometimes chosen to give the package free-standing properties: by bringing the weight of the product to the center of the package, it stands or hangs straight in the shelf. Also, this approach is sometimes used to avoid very deep single blisters which may be too easily bendable, and thus reduce product protection unless made rather thick. Optically, it is a much prettier solution to divide the view of the product in two.
100% visible on the shelf
Take an industry such as automotive, lighting, stationery, or electronics and you’ll find blisters used in packaging any product you can imagine. That’s no surprise, because blisters are a unique, self-selling concept. There’s no better way to present your product than to make it 100% visible on the shelf, while being fully protected by the transparent plastic blister. Blisters can be produced in any style, size or shape. Combined with a printed blister card the blister pack supports the promotion of your products and gives the customer all the necessary product information.
Ecobliss can produce front & back blisters in any style, size or shape – totally symmetric, especially if the displayed product is regularly shaped, or completely different – say in the case where the front of the product is the side usually seen when in use, but the back is where the controls are, and these must also be viewable by the prospective client. Front & back blisters are used widely in many industries such as electronics, automotive and DIY as protective display containers, often doubling as transport packaging. To achieve the right look, feel and serve your functional needs, Ecobliss creates blisters from transparent or opaque material, and in almost any color, including metallic silver and gold. We can produce blisters with an interesting texture, such as a soft, cloth-feel surface (flocked). Blisters can even be made in 3D shapes with 3D printing, for a truly eye-catching effect. Why not invite Ecobliss onto your packaging or process design team! We have the experience and know-how to assist you in your design work, or if you desire, to take on the design of the best possible front & back blister solution for you. We know how to package your product well, and how to distinguish your products from the competition. Depending on the market in which they are used, blisters are typically made of PET or PVC, but obviously different thermoformable plastics can be used.
